The hirschen backpackers.hotel.pub was founded in the year 2000. Since then this hostel has been home to many backpackers, hikers, pilgrims, bikers and other visitors of the historic town in the heart of Switzerland, which is also home of Victorinox, the world famous factory of pocket tools. All over the year there are taking place a lot of traditional events, which might lengthen your stay.

Hostel

The hirschen backpackers.hotel.pub offers 36 beds in 14 rooms with 1, 2 or 6 beds. All rooms, except the 6-bed-dorms in the backpacker part, are equipped with a washbasin and TV. Some of them have their private bathroom. For the rest there are showers available on each floor. A witty pub with snugy garden and a big choice of Swiss beer, kitchen and laundry facilities, internet access and a wide range of party games make your stay just perfect. Breakfast is also available in the pub.

Location

The hirschen backpackers.hotel.pub is about 300 meters from town center. From bus stop „Schwyz Post” walk straight ahead to the next roundabout. Turn left and walk clockwise around the big square beneath the church. Watch out for the hotel-signposts “Hirschen”. At the upper end of the square pass the restaurant “Kreuz & Quer” and follow the “Reichsstrasse”. Stay on this street for about 100 m until you reach a little square called “Sonnenplätzli”. Stay on the left side of the street. Walk straight ahead for another 100 m till you arrive at hirschen backpackers.hotel.pub on your right handside.
